Speaking Jeff McLain
I love creating spaces for meaningful conversations.
I love creating spaces where pastors, leaders, churches, and organizations can come together for honest and transformative conversations. Whether we gather online or in person, I believe there’s incredible value in listening, learning, and sharing. These moments of dialogue—rooted in experience, honesty, and a shared desire to grow—can spark new ideas, deepen understanding, and inspire us to take faithful next steps. For me, speaking isn’t just about delivering a message; it’s about cultivating a conversation that moves us all closer to what God is calling us to be and do. It is my hope to bring strategic insight, practical application, simplicity, theological depth, and meaningful challenge to our paradigms in every space I enter. I want to encourage, equip and empower people to think differently about Jesus, church, our paradigms, life, and everything in-between.
A journey of intersections.
Over the past two decades, my life has unfolded at the crossroads of unexpected intersections:
A spiritual sojourner navigating seasons of doubt, discovery, and renewal.
An events promoter curating spaces for community and creativity.
A pastor guiding churches toward new expressions of faith and mission.
A pastoral leader walking alongside those marginalized and experiencing homelessness.
These diverse experiences are all woven together by a shared commitment to fostering connection, authenticity, and hope amidst life’s complexities. They’ve deepened my ability to recognize God’s presence in unexpected places and invite others into a journey of transformation and renewal.
What I Bring to Every Gathering
These experiences have shaped who I am today: a pastor, storyteller, and fellow pilgrim on the journey of faith. When I speak, I aim to connect the dots between culture, faith, and real life, offering spaces for honest reflection, practical encouragement, and meaningful growth. Whether you’re looking for a guest speaker, workshop leader, guest preacher, or retreat facilitator, my goal is to create an environment where we can listen to one another, lean into scripture, and explore how God is at work among us.
Topics I love to share about.
There are many topics I love to cultivate conversation on. Over the years I have led workshops on discipleship, missional investment, change in churches and organizations, event promotion, and more. I have also led spiritual retreats, spoke at renewal and revival events, and emceed many events. Among some of my favorite conversations are:
Praying the Lord’s Prayer.
The Lord's Prayer: A Framework for Discipleship
Leading A Quiet Life.
Be Still and Know: Disciplines and Rules of Life.
Missional Discipleship
Holy Challenge
Four Walls of Gratitude
Faithful Presence: Practicing intentional community and neighborhood engagement.
Empowering the Marginalized: Lessons from ministry with the homeless.
Navigating Leadership Challenges: Building resilience and adaptability in ministry.
The Adventure of Faith: Stories of hitchhiking, rediscovering Jesus, and embracing joy-filled simplicity.
Speaking Requirements
I strive to work with any event and budget, holding to the belief that freely giving is a vital part of my calling. While I aim to offer as much as I can, the realities of my own journey have led me in this season to request coverage for travel expenses (mileage, trains, or flights), a place to sleep (I’m flexible—hammocks, couches, or even bathtubs work!), and, if possible, a donation toward my doctoral studies, which currently cost $300 per month.
Let’s connect for a conversation.
I’d love to connect and see how I can serve your church, organization, or event. If you’re interested, let’s have a conversation about your needs, schedule, and ideas. Together, we can create a meaningful experience that inspires, equips, and encourages your group. Reach out and connect with me to get started. I look forward to hearing from you!
